BRC recruitment is looking for qualified Speech Pathologists/Speech Therapists to work for an exciting opportunity to work with a NDIS registered provider.

About the role:

• Provide high quality speech pathology assessment and intervention for clients within the context of Primary Health
• Work closely with support coordinators and referring clinics to support regular tracking of progress in monitoring client progress and care, ensuring feedback is provided to staff and supporting implementation of changes in response to identified gaps
• Maximise Medicare billings / claims through effective and timely clinic and patient records processes
• Incorporate a holistic approach to health care that incorporates health promotion activities according to community and organisational priorities

What we are looking for:

• Strong commitment to inclusion of people with disabilities within the community
• Experience dealing with challenging behaviours and the ability to mentor staff in this area
• Self- motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent computer skills including familiarity with MS Office
• Proven ability to prepare and present written and verbal reports

Essential requirements:

• A tertiary qualification in Speech Therapy/Speech Pathology
• Current membership with Speech Pathology Australia with a minimum 1-2 years of professional experience
• Current and valid First Aid and CPR certification
• Current NSW Working with Children's Check
• Full working rights in Australia
• Current NSW driver's licence
• Current WWCC for NSW
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
